La Economía Circular es un sistema de producción y gestión de recursos, bienes y servicios que tiene como finalidad la reutilización y maximización de estos y la minimización del desperdicio.
Sus principios son:
- La utilización de los residuos de unos productos, como la materia prima de otros.
- La optimización del uso de los recursos que disponemos.
- Se fomenta el reciclaje.
- La Economía Industrial apuesta por el establecimiento de una organización industrial en un mismo territorio, buscando optimizar los flujos de materiales, energía y servicios.
- Los productos se pueden reintroducir en el circuito económico.
- Los impactos medio ambientales son tenidos en cuenta a lo largo del ciclo de vida de un producto.
En el caso de La industria del Reencauche de llantas, Renoboy en sus 33 años generando valor, se ha encargado de facilitar la gestión post-consumo siendo de las pocas empresas que participa en las 3R (Reducir, Reutilizar y Reciclar).
- Reducir: Por medio del reencauche reducimos el impacto ambiental que tiene una llanta nueva, así mismo reducimos el impacto económico operacional de los transportadores.
- Reutilizar: Al reencauchar una banda de rodamiento prolongamos la vida útil de las carcasas.
- Reciclar: Con los residuos de nuestra materia prima (el caucho) generamos caucho granulado, el cual puede ser usado en otros tipos de bienes ej: construcción de carreteras, aplicación en superficies de zonas recreativas, relleno de césped artificial, entre otras.
